HANDHELD NIBP SIMULATOR
INTRODUCING A NEW HAND-HELD NON INVASIVE BLOOD PRESSURE SIMULATOR FOR THE FAST AND ACCURATE TESTING OF ALL NIBP MONITORS.
The new Rigel BP-Sim incorporates a range of custom settings that include a variety of paediatric and adult NIBP pressures, pulse volume adjustments, heart rate and manufacturer-specific envelopes, referred to as O-curves.
The Rigel BP-Sim is the first hand-held NIBP simulator combining full performance features with a large capacity internal memory for the data capture, storage and subsequent downloading of test results for record keeping purposes.
In addition, Bluetooth-enabled technology allows the wireless connectivity of the tester with PCs and other accessory equipment for fast and convenient downloading of performance data and the uploading of manufacturers’ O-curves and manufacturer specific test programs.
Other special features of the Rigel BPSim include an in-built pump to generate user specific pressure settings for comprehensive system leak tests and over-pressure tests. An integral digital manometer also enables highly accurate static pressure measurements to be taken using a wide range of selectable pressure units.
The new Rigel BP-Sim forms part of a comprehensive range of high performance specialist biomedical test equipment supplied by Rigel Medical, part of the Seaward Group.
RIGEL MEDICAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
Rigel Med-eBase software incorporates a number of special features not previously associated with the recording and management of electrical and functional safety testing data.
This new program facilitates the production of a comprehensive series of advanced results and data reports including comparison alert function. A unique option to store your data on a local or remote database structure and an exceptional layout makes the system easy to use, with very little training required.
The Med-eBase Software can use both local and remote databases. A local database requires no database server to be installed while a remote database can allow multiple users to access the same data simultaneously.
Med-eBase software allows the user to easily manage the test data to and from the Rigel Medical test equipment range (288, BP-Sim, SP-Sim, Uni-Sim). Sort functions, comparison of test results combined with database functions will allow the user to upload to Rigel Medical products for fast re-testing of stored assets.
Med-eBase stores all traceable data coming from our Rigel Medical testers in an SQL database including: manufacturer name, model, serial number, asset description, site and location, service code, user name, test data and test sequence.
This provides a complete record system of electrical safety and functional test data directly from Rigel Medical products without the need to duplicate or replicate data entry.
The network version allows users to store test results centrally and gives users access to one database which holds the data safely and securely on a remote location.
PATIENT SIMULATION MADE QUICKER
A COST-EFFECTIVE, EASY TO USE PATIENT SIMULATOR.
The new PatSim200 from Rigel was designed to make every patient simulation, quicker. Unlike other Patient Simulators, the PatSim uses a home and recall function to easily move between tests and store your most used sequences, no more clicking and scrolling through ‘tree style’ hierarchy to perform each test.
One of the most unique features of the PatSim200 is the ability to save and recall 5 of your most used simulations at the touch of just 3 buttons.
The unit itself is compact, lightweight and the full colour screen with easily altered high contrast low luminance lighting means adapting the unit for use in low lighting environments is simple.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY ANALYZER

The Rigel 288+ electrical safety analyzer offers an accurate and fast solution for meeting international and local safety standards.
Enjoy complete freedom to move around, without the need for mains voltage, thanks to the new battery powered test capability. Using standard AA batteries, tests can be carried out for insulation, earth/ground bond testing, and touch or point-to-point leakage current testing.
Additional 50VDC and 100VDC insulation tests, to complement the 250VDC and 500VDC tests, make the 288+ conform to growing manufacturer’s requirements for testing 24VDC and 48VDC operated devices such as operating tables, lights and mobile X-rays.
Combining automatic and manual test sequences, data storage and direct printing facilities, the Rigel 288+ remains the most compact safety analyzer of its kind. An automatic warning of secondary earth/ground paths makes users aware when invalid readings are made, ensuring correct and accurate test results first time, every time.
To further improve the portability and flexibility of the 288+, a range of accessories, including Bluetooth printers and barcode scanners, are available.

THE INFUSION PUMP ANALYZER THAT CAN DOUBLE YOUR TEST CAPACITY
The Rigel Multi-Flo infusion pump analyzer offers ease of use, high accuracy readings and productivity improvements right from set-up.
With the choice of single or multi-channel configuration, the Multi-Flo can test up to four infusion devices simultaneously across a range of 10μL up to 1500mL per hour, with all results being stored in the large internal memory.
The Multi-Flo delivers unique accurate and instantaneous flow measurements even at low flow rates, enabling the user to test twice as many infusion devices within the same time period as other volumetric based analyzers.
To help save even more time and to reduce the risk of human error, the Multi-Flo can also be programmed with manufacturer specific test routines which can then be automatically executed by the user on the device itself or controlled from a PC using the Med-eBase software solution.
To meet the requirements of IEC 60601-2-24, the Multi-Flo also provides accurate back pressure simulations, occlusion alarm monitoring and bolus (PCA) measurements, and a large color graphics display presents the data in both numerical and graphical format.
A remote (PC) control interface is available via Rigel’s test solution software, Med-eBase, allowing complete control of the Multi-Flo’s features from the comfort of a PC.
Requiring just a single USB connection per Multi-Flo, the total number of pumps under simultaneous test is limited only by the number of USB ports available. Perfect for high volume test environments.
UNIVERSAL SPO2 FINGER SIMULATOR
The compact Rigel PULS-R universal SpO2 simulation finger is the latest accessory to the Rigel UNI-SIM and SP-SIM vital-signs simulators.
Able to simulate accurate SpO2 simulations in 1% resolution from as low as 30%* using the pre-programmed manufacturer specific R-curves, the PULS-R can also be configured to meet customer specific R-curves using the simple to use configuration tool.
